Teachers absolutely dislike Christmas presents, teachers say: ‘Not quite the blessing you were hoping for’

These socks can land you in detention.

A former teacher has revealed the three so-called gifts that no educator wants to receive during the holidays.

“If you’ve been in the classroom long enough, you’ve received one of these ‘gifts’ that isn’t the blessing you expected,” content creator Natalie wrote in a scathing social post that’s resurfaced just in time for the holiday season.

Any kind of giveaway from Victoria’s Secret is “difficult,” she said.

For starters, she advised against anything from Victoria’s Secret—yes, even lotion or perfume.

“I don’t care that you didn’t get your underwear,” she said. “That lotion smells bad and now you have a Victoria’s Secret bag on your desk. It’s just embarrassing.”

Next, don’t even think about making “a giant unannounced treat for the whole class” – fun for the kids, but a nightmare for the teachers.

They are forced to deal with the consequences of their new students getting high on sugar and the subsequent crash.

“Look, it’s great that you want to get everyone donuts, but you should ask ahead of time when and if the teacher is okay with it,” Natalie explained.

She revealed that fathers have tried to hit her before, which she doesn’t want.

“It’s just too much sugar, especially for little guys.”

Finally, teachers “don’t want your advances.”

“I’ve had several fathers try to come on to me over the years and it’s uncomfortable,” she said.

“Remember, you have the whole school year to work together — maybe just go online and find someone,” she suggested.

While Natalie’s informative clip was meant to be helpful for parents, viewers were divided on whether she was being “sensible” or “weird” and “ungrateful”.

“Or, just say thank you and show some gratitude,” gushed one person.

“Maybe I don’t get anything then lol,” joked another.

“I’m so glad I stopped buying teacher gifts a long time ago,” wrote one critic.

“I’m a teacher and I’m grateful for any gift a student brings me,” someone else called out.

In fact, several school employees said they had previously received fragrances from Victoria’s Secret, calling it “the best gift ever.”

“I think you should be grateful for anything that someone gives you from the heart,” said one user. “I’m a former teacher and I feel blessed to be thought of, even though I would have chosen it.”

Others, however, were in agreement with Natalie.

“Parents should ask first,” one person wrote, referring to the candy and noting that teachers should be aware of food allergies. “You can’t bring anything without them knowing.”

“These reasons are all reasonable. getting baby perfume and sugar = migraines for the rest of the day. Are you being spanked by your children’s parents? Gross,” someone else commented.
